TEXT MINGLE #1: CYBERCHARM 💞

One way or another, if you find yourself opening your aXess Link device, you may notice a curious pre-installed application. It's called CyberCharm! Otherworlders skeptical or curious alike, and feel compelled to investigate this program, will notice that the interface's AI has been hit with a glitch, causing users to discover a pre-generated dating profile has already been filled out for them. If any users wish to change or delete their profile, they must do so before anyone else responds, otherwise they could be saddled with an embarrassing pre-generated profile! Once responded to, users are locked out of changing it for the next month! So please make certain you are satisfied with your profile before it's too late!

[In hindsight, he really ought to have seen it coming. And in hindsight, it was rather strange that he didn't. He hadn't noticed before now, that little part of him that always seemed to know what was coming at him, is suddenly missing.

He can't untangle himself in time so he goes down with Azem, getting squashed under them.

He doesn't struggle, going limp like a dead fish.]

[ They're both missing particularly vital part of themselves. That thing that lets me know when something is coming their way and allows them to adjust just in time.

Without it, though, it does make everything more interesting.

He knows how to react to this kind of move, rather than struggle he goes limp and Azem, much like a cat playing with its prey is disappointed and near losing interest. ]

Aw, giving up already? [ They push themself up a little, but not enough for him to escape just yet. ]

[It isn't quite an opportunity to wriggle free, so Rhea'li waits, patient.]

I'm afraid there's naught I can do while you're crushing me with your big strong warrior body.

[He says it in a flat, matter of fact manner. But were this a real fight, he would have maintained his silence.]

My big strong warrior body, hmm? Thinking a lot about that? [ They grin before letting out a laugh. ]

Fair enough. [ They roll off of him and shove themselves back up on their feet in a quick flourish. ]

[Well... they're not wrong. Especially with their profile.]

You have plenty being left to the imagination.

[The moment Azem is off him Rhea'li lashes out with a foot, aiming to strike at their legs and break their balance, just as they had attempted on him earlier.]

Do I?

[ They don't see the kick coming and stumble back to the ground with a huff. They should have seen it coming with how scrappy he is but they don't seem disappointed, in fact, they laugh as they try to get back up before he can get on them. ]

[lightduties]

[He immediately jumps at the opportunity... and towards Azem, aiming to pin them down using his knees on their arms while sitting on their torso so the rest of his weight can keep them in the dirt.]

Well, with a profile like yours...

[ Azem knows what's coming if they can't get up. They hope to get themselves into the "dead bug" position so Rhea'li can't pin them at all, unfortunately, the best they can do is their arms up so they're still free. ]

What about my profile? [ They ask, grinning up at him while trying to prevent him from pinning their arms. ]

[Rhea'li changes tack and goes for grasping their wrists instead. The half-lidded gaze and smug look makes it quite clear he's not trying very hard to pin them fully down.]

If one had access to transformation magicks like yourself, why, one could get quite creative

[ While Azem makes a show of trying to avoid being pinned they eventually relent and let him grab their wrists. ]

I suppose one could. [ They respond in a tone that suggest maybe they haven't been creative with their transformation magicks. ]

[Rhea'li tilts his head, an ear flicking once, even the bare minimum effort to feign a spar gone completely.]

...You've not ventured to use transformation magicks while laying with another?

[Really!?]

[starshepard]

[ Azem looks thoughtful for a moment. ]

The idea had crossed my mind, but those I've laid with have been mostly, how do I put this... flings.

More often than not I only use my magicks to change to their desired sex.

[lightduties]

[Azem what do you mean you have transformation magic and you didn't even do anything kinky with that!?

Rhea'li's disbelief is very clearly writ across his face and he even lets go of their wrists while straddling them.]

Is a fling not more reason to get adventurous?

[ Azem is more about doing whatever their partner wants so if they don't want to get kinky, then they don't get kinky. ]

I suppose... But I'm happy to do whatever my partner is comfortable with.

[Hmmm... That's kind of disappointing. He does prefer more bite and fight to his bedfellows. The automatic text filler in his CyberCharm profile seems rather off the mark here.]

That's rather surprising.

For some reason [The reason is his own personality] I thought you the type to seek new and novel experiences.

[starshepard]

[ They frown as they think about that. ]

I do but I suppose my various partners have not been the adventurous sort.

[ Man, now they feel like they're being shamed for not using their transformation magicks for more interesting means. ]

'Tis a shame I lack my magicks.

[Oops.]

'Tis truly a shame. [He agrees.] There is an entertainment district here, if you were interested in an adventure with me one day.

[His tail flicks behind him as he grins down at Azem, expression the epitome of :3c]

[starshepard]

I would be delighted for an adventure in the entertainment district with you.

[ They grin back up at him, practically mimicking his expression. However, a split second later they take the moment to buck their hips up and try to throw him off. ]

[lightduties]

[He's not that surprised, but since this has very clearly devolved into something that's very definitely not serious sparring, Rhea'li lets himself lose his balance and hit the ground with a muffled oof.]

[starshepard]

[ The mood is gone after that little bit of conversation.

Azem wiggles out from under the now prone Rhea'li and settles themself in a seated position next to him. ]

How much of the city have you explored?

[lightduties]

[Oops. Sorry Azem. Rhea'li rolls over so he's on his back and stays lying on the grass, looking up at the unfamiliar sky.]

Not enough of it, I'm afraid.

[There are still areas he doesn't really have access to, but even the parts he does are quite vast.]

'Tis strange. There is much still to explore of this city, but I find myself wishing for the wilds.

[His gaze flicks to Azem.]

Do you feel the same?

[starshepard]

[ As he speaks, Azem feels what he says in their bones. That desire to see beyond the city walls grows stronger within them. ]

Aye. As intriguing as this city is I ache to see the lands that lie beyond.

[lightduties]

Is that so?

[His tails flicks.]

An explorer, then?

[He knows the answer isn't that, but perhaps a little subterfuge has rubbed off on him from his friends. He hopes Azem will elaborate further.]

[starshepard]

[ Azem's happy to elaborate further. Or at least, give the most simplified answer they can. ]

Of sorts, yes. 'Tis my job, you could say. I travel the star, making new discoveries and helping those in need. However, even if wasn't my job I would still happily travel.

[ They smile proudly. ]

[lightduties]

[Rhea'li can't help but smile in return.]
