TEXT MINGLE #1: CYBERCHARM 💞

One way or another, if you find yourself opening your aXess Link device, you may notice a curious pre-installed application. It's called CyberCharm! Otherworlders skeptical or curious alike, and feel compelled to investigate this program, will notice that the interface's AI has been hit with a glitch, causing users to discover a pre-generated dating profile has already been filled out for them. If any users wish to change or delete their profile, they must do so before anyone else responds, otherwise they could be saddled with an embarrassing pre-generated profile! Once responded to, users are locked out of changing it for the next month! So please make certain you are satisfied with your profile before it's too late!

Not that surprised. But it'd be a weird choice. Journalists aren't liked much more than cops. Less, in some places. We're a lot more interested in uncovering the dirty laundry of people in power than reinforcing existing power structures.

I'm a newsie. I report the facts with as little opinion or bias as I can manage.

I don't know about that. Plenty of journalists also sell out and work for news corps. They get into a lot of places cops and feds would be unwanted. I admit the cops typically don't think about any approach other than guns blazing, but the NUSA feds are a different matter.

Ah, you're one of those types of journalists. Good on you. That's some dangerous work.

Trust me, I'm aware not all journalists are so scrupulous. I know first hand what can happen when a corrupt media bows to outside influence. There's a reason I'm so dedicated to my career.
