TEXT MINGLE #1: CYBERCHARM 💞
One way or another, if you find yourself opening your aXess Link device, you may notice a curious pre-installed application. It's called CyberCharm! Otherworlders skeptical or curious alike, and feel compelled to investigate this program, will notice that the interface's AI has been hit with a glitch, causing users to discover a pre-generated dating profile has already been filled out for them. If any users wish to change or delete their profile, they must do so before anyone else responds, otherwise they could be saddled with an embarrassing pre-generated profile! Once responded to, users are locked out of changing it for the next month! So please make certain you are satisfied with your profile before it's too late!
NOTES
CyberCharm Profie:
Guidelines:
1. Please fill out the provided code below! You may write it in the IC style of your character, or as the CyberCharm app would have provided for them. You may modify the code to your heart's content!
2. The app's system is a little confused, and isn't quite sure what body count means. Could it be how many people you've slept with, or does it mean how many people you've killed? Feel free to respond to this however you see fit.
3. Respond to other profiles with the ✖ / PASS! or 💖 / MATCH!
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

Some park? Wait, I think I can--

You have been sent a maps link!

That should show you where, I think?

[personal profile] starshepard 2024-04-02 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
i see
do you think its the same with me?
starshepard: (9)

[personal profile] starshepard 2024-04-02 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
you dont know what i do when im without you
starshepard: (12)

[personal profile] starshepard 2024-04-02 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
that
is a good question

im sure we can find somewhere suited for such activites

[personal profile] starshepard 2024-04-02 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
why would it be shameless?
why must one live their life only thinking of their duty?
one can have a little fun and do their job
emet_sulk: (A01 How glib)

[personal profile] emet_sulk 2024-04-02 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
So you behaved only when you were out of my sight, is that what you're saying?
emet_sulk: (A10 That goes against reason)

[personal profile] emet_sulk 2024-04-02 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Fair enough. I can sympathise with wishing to control the narrative around one's image.

If only I had been quick enough to do the same.
emet_sulk: (A03 Must we?)

That is a terrible way to create life.

When my people introduced new concepts to the star, they always created several pairs and scattered them throughout their intended habitat.

[ Crowley, your Almighty sucks. ]

[personal profile] thindarkduke 2024-04-02 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Not as terrible as making a whole universe full of stars and nebulae and wonders, and then declaring that you're going to destroy the whole thing after only six thousand years, before it's even gotten a chance to spin up properly.

[He's not arguing with that.]
lightduties: (triangulation)

[personal profile] lightduties 2024-04-02 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
[!!! Is this... a map marker? The abstraction is interesting, but this is far more convenient than having to show someone his (largely hand drawn) map when asking for directions. The conveniences of this world are incredible...]

you MUST show me how to do that when we meet again
ill be there shortly

[And true to his word, he is. In relatively good time for once! And he's turning his head this way and that, looking for Crowley.]
lightduties: (invariant)

[personal profile] lightduties 2024-04-02 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
[That has him frowning at the device. Certainly, they share the same soul. But does Emet-Selch simply see him as an extension of Azem? That stirs an uncomfortable emotion in him, like an itch on the inside.]

is that so?
you must tell me some of them
peacewithouttyranny: (The most expressive he's ever been)

[personal profile] peacewithouttyranny 2024-04-02 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
[Eh, Soundwave's the same. He'd tap X for near anyone, too.]

Not yet. That is the difficult part, admittedly.
lightduties: (circular functions)

[personal profile] lightduties 2024-04-02 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
[Ah.]

aye youve the right of it
creatures with the capacity for flight
most chocobos lost that capability but mine is of a breed that still can

i see

[Accidents happen!]

so if these cars are everywhere that means people are more inclined to travel?
have you traveled much?
peacewithouttyranny: (Is that a thing?)

[personal profile] peacewithouttyranny 2024-04-02 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
[He's hardly even upset with the X. Honestly, he'd do the same to almost anybody.]

It is a faction, consisted of those who wished for equality and freedom. A movement in response to a rigid and oppressive class system.
emet_sulk: (A10 That goes against reason)

[personal profile] emet_sulk 2024-04-02 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
It may be. Or it may not.

We will not know until they show us how to use this power I suppose.
peacewithouttyranny: (How astounding)

[personal profile] peacewithouttyranny 2024-04-02 05:11 am (UTC)(link)

[Tentatively hearted...]

I ought to apologize for our previous interaction.

[Ok, there were some things he didn't regret saying, but still....]
emet_sulk: (A29 Heavens above)

[personal profile] emet_sulk 2024-04-02 07:41 am (UTC)(link)
Only six thousand years? What a waste. Even mine has existed for far, far longer than that.
emet_sulk: (A02 I see nothing)

[personal profile] emet_sulk 2024-04-02 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
I'm afraid I don't remember them as clearly as I would like.

You would be better off asking Azem directly.
lightduties: (COSINEd)

[personal profile] lightduties 2024-04-02 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
hm
i suppose it IS better to obtain the story straight from the chocobos beak

so
what are your plans?
i worry you may not have any employable skills
emet_sulk: (A29 Heavens above)

[personal profile] emet_sulk 2024-04-02 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
I am perfectly employable.

I

[ Shite, what IS a skill he could leverage to get income? He has four months to find something unless his magicks return in some capacity. ]
bodyoftheseus: (006)

[personal profile] bodyoftheseus 2024-04-02 02:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Think I'm gonk enough to fall for that, Johnny? I'm not one of your strung-out groupies.

[ After sending that one, however, he does take some time to review John's profile again. Johnny was a narcissist, he wasn't the type to hide and try to be someone else. Even though he had changed quite a bit in their time together, this still didn't seem very much the rockerboy's style once V took a moment to slow down and think about it. ]
bodyoftheseus: (023)

[personal profile] bodyoftheseus 2024-04-02 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
[ There was a hesitation before he responded. Was it smart to elaborate on what his systems were? Ultimately, anyone with the right tech and a little know-how would be able to scan him and see what all he was packing, so it didn't particularly matter. The sooner he could build up the rep to not be screwed around with, the better. ]

Mix of everything. I primarily want my cyberdeck, neural systems, and mantis blades back. And my pain editor. I stubbed my toe earlier, and I hardly wanted to remember what that felt like.

[personal profile] thindarkduke 2024-04-02 03:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Crowley sits up slightly from his sprawl on a bench and waves a hand when Rhea'li is facing in his direction. He found one facing a pond that is thankfully free of ducks--that would be too much. But a park without ducks is fine enough. He likes a park. A public garden.

"Oi, over here!"
thindarkduke: (what are you talking about)

[personal profile] thindarkduke 2024-04-02 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
How old're you, then? Approximately. Since it seems to have had as much trouble with you there as it did me.

And yes, terrible waste. Part of why I Fell was for questioning that choice. All my beautiful nebulae barely given a chance to shine. Baby stars never getting to grow up.
