Lucy has been lurking here for a couple of minutes, leaning back against the far wall and watching. Some have been reluctant storytellers, only joining in when coaxed or encouraged (or mocked for not participating). Some have been happy to play along, making up silly little stories or recounting funny encounters from their own lives.
But the next girl that comes along takes to it like a duck to water, cheerfully starting to regale the audience. Lucy would have absolutely no problem with this, except-- she's the one that gets pointed at.
Lucy blinks, taken off guard, her disaffected demeanor breaking a little in surprise. But everybody's looking at her expectantly now, and ugh. She may as well play along. She bites back a sigh, and steps closer until she's next to the holographic projector, pale eyes lighting up with the colors it's emanating.
"Galactic Baseballer, huh?" she drawls, restrained amusement touching her expression. "Sure. I'd like to hear it."
Maybe it'll be a nice distraction from obsessively thinking about how she even wound up here.
