A tiny, amused little smirk curls at the very edge of Lucy's lips.
"Let's hope not," she says dryly.
Back home, some people had fingertip cyberware built to analyze the chemical make-up of things, usually to be able to tell if someone was trying to spike their drink. Lucy had never bothered getting that -- she'd just made sure she always kept her drink covered -- but she wishes she had, now. Then again, none of her cyberware is working right now, so it'd be useless even if she had gotten it.
But Faye isn't falling over dead, and her pupils look fine. Could be a slow-acting drug, if there's anything in the food at all, but they're probably not drugging the food. Unless they want them compliant, or too dopey to notice something sinister, or--
Hmm. Maybe she's being paranoid.
Whatever. She bites into the strawberry she's holding, and makes a noise that can only equate to holy shit. She can't remember the last time she had real fruit. "If we get tranq'd or spiked or something, we'll just have to team up and keep ourselves safe," she decides.
