Lucy's only been in this world for about an hour, but she feels like she's already seen all kinds. Some of them claimed to have magic. Others that feel like they came from Earth about a hundred years ago. Others still that don't seem surprised about traveling to new worlds.
But this is the first time she's seen a guy in full armor. Lucy's no stranger to armor, but this gonk looks like he stepped out of a tale about a fanciful knight. Is any of that even functional?
Still, whatever pointed comment she might have made about his get-up dies on her tongue the moment she spots what he's seeing in the water. Lucy's eyes widen a fraction, taking in the violence and destruction, the razing of what looks like a village to the ground while a young boy -- probably the man in armor -- runs in desperate attempt to escape. Fuck, it's an awful sight, but the guy doesn't seem rattled at all.
Lucy tugs her jacket tighter around her shoulders, head tipped to the side in curiosity. Her expression is as closed off as always, cool and dismissive, but she finds herself interested nonetheless. "What did they mean?"
