John glances up at the other man, and remembers him from the train. Someone else in his position. He sees the attire, and for a moment thinks of the Elders. Gilgamesh certainly stands out even in this crowd in a way that John does not.
But that's the point. To not be noticed. Or...at least it was.
"So they got...pleasures like this where you come from? Your...world?" He manages to stumble over that last part only a little. He's coming to accept this is no dream or creation of his mind (John has never been inventive enough to come up with a a place like this, nor does he think he would), and that many preconceptions about reality he had taken for granted don't necessarily turn out to be true at all. Normally, Gilgamesh's assessment would be correct about him, but...well. John doesn't jave anyone here, besides the dog, who is a reassurance, but not exactly the most talkative of company. Perhaps he's just feeling a bit disconnected, in a bad way, which drives him to engage with this well-dressed stranger.
