Dunno who Superman is, but yeah...superheroes. In my world, almost everyone develops a quirk - what you'd called a superpower, I guess - and in a way to make sure people don't fucking obliterate one another in the stupidest goddamn ways, they made being a Hero a government job, among other rules and regulations.
You saw mine during the race.
[He won't go into the details of his quirk with a stranger, but if she asks, she'll get the vague definition. His quirk's not a secret, after all - it's public information back home in the Quirk Registry - and Katsuki is extremely proud of his quirk. In his opinion, it's the best one, and has suited him perfectly since he got it. It's his "individuality", and he wouldn't trade it for fucking anything else. ...Probably the same sentiment most people nowadays would agree with, but not everyone. His friends and classmates would definitely share that thought, though.
Their quirks don't define them, absolutely not, but they're still a piece of them that is special, and specific, to each person. Even Izuku, quirkless moron that he is--was...now has a special quirk that he's made his own.]
Mm. [He nods, waving off some fucking paparazzi who's snapping photos a little too damn close to his face. God, he can't wait to get out of here.] What's a wish if you don't at least fucking try to grant it yourself? Impossible shit I get...things that can't be done without some kind of intervention, but something that just takes time, work, and dedication? If you have someone else just fucking hand it over, what's the point of even wishing for it?
