She likely missed it, during her curtsy - the moth turning to the man adorned in his large butterfly-esque wings with a low, barely heard chitter until he grinned. Really, Oberon, introducing her that way to an innocent child; it was unnecessary.

“What? Look at her manners! Clearly we’ve no need to be concerned.”

Grinning all the more when the child announced there would need to be an exchanging of names, too. They were not in the land of the fae (thank the stars for that) but it was encouraging to note that the girl had some semblance of sense, to not take the hands of complete strangers yet.

“Right you are — well then.” With a flourish, his cape swinging over his shoulders as he crossed an arm over his chest, bowing. “I am called Oberon, the eccentric King of the Fairies! But for you, dear, you can just call me Oberon.”

Less of a mouthful. He sent her a wink.

“And you? Should I guess?” Not even giving her a chance to reply, he was already formulating five names in his head, humming thoughtfully with a hand tucked over his chim. “You’re giving me a bit of ‘Brigette’, maybe.”
