[Oh, Katsuki can feel the eyeroll, and it just delights that gremlin-esque part of him that is probably related to the teen being, well...a teen. There's some kind of sick joy he takes in being an obnoxious little brat and people being annoyed by it - it's petty and he knows it, but...when has Bakugou Katsuki ever been anything but explosively petty sometimes? And besides, he wouldn't be this obnoxious and competitive if this lady wasn't giving him a damn good challenge. It's his weird way of being...negatively positive?? Don't question it.
Likewise though - without the competitive aspect of this race - if Katsuki was just given the opportunity to explore the skyline with his quirk and nothing else - he'd enjoy it completely. He's not someone like Hawks whose life is bound to being able to fly, but it is incredible, he has to admit. The freedom of movement, the tranquility of nothing but the openness, the rush of air and his own explosions...it's weirdly peaceful. Katsuki can't do that back home, not unless he's on a job. Visium gave him that freedom, but it's nothing like this. Moving through the concrete jungle like it's a puzzle to solve is something else entirely. It keeps him on his toes in the best way, and it's also why he loves shit like this - where he can think and act in real time, use all his skills and smarts at once.]
Tch, if I had it my way, I wouldn't fucking need to even use it!
[This bitch has some tricks up her sleeves, and he's half tempted to try one out for himself, but...it's a dirty ploy, using his quirk to make himself into a living flash grenade to blind and disorient her to take a win. He's not a filthy cheat like that, and nor is Katsuki about to put someone in possible harm to secure himself a victory. Not anymore, anyway - he's come well beyond how he used to be. It's fine - he's not as heavy or as big as that bike is, and its boosters still rely on a fuel source...which is limited. His proverbial tank is going strong, and with the adrenaline making his core body temperature rise...Katsuki is sweating more, and thus his explosions are bigger, stronger, and more powerful. If he uses another cluster, and measures the wind speed and his resistance...he could probably gain those needed few inches to overtake her and win, by a nose.
It's not a perfect victory, which is...annoying as fuck, but it'd still be a win. If he can manage.]
