"I would not object. Indeed, I have a level of Sight which is above the ordinary and mundane. Though the magic in this world is different, nonetheless... my abilities may yet prove valuable."

Technically, the illusions have still given Gilgamesh difficulties with locating the flowers, but --

"If nothing else, I suspect there may be some pattern to these visions. Some key to understanding them." Gilgamesh casts a glance at the Lumen guides -- "These beings, I think, may also be able to perceive the truth. Let us consult them. O Lumens, can you point us towards a garden of these Glowshade Ferns and Phantom Lilies?"

The spirits, with a small chittering sound, do begin to encircle one another, before drifting towards a bed of greenery. The greenery is dark, not befitting the flowers they seek, but Gilgamesh thinks this unto itself may be an illusion, so he moves to approach, letting William come if he will.

Looking over at him, he adds with a small smile, "As for my Friend, it may be that only I can see them. And they may only appear when I am alone. Aha... though that is just as well. They are a memory, you see. A star to guide me... but should I see them again, I think they too will know where the flowers are. They were always the best at such matters. Better than myself. They were a creature purely of the natural world..."

And long deceased, but alive in Gilgamesh's own memories, and he cherishes them as much now as he ever did.
