There is a portion of terminology that Erichthonios struggles with. Beggar is not something he knows the meaning of, besides one who begs. For what manner of aid, he cannot comprehend, but even the hypothetical beggar is able to garner sympathy from him. To be in need of aid that remained unrendered, and to disappear without a soul noticing... it is unfathomably sad.
