Normally AUO would have clairvoyance and a higher level of Sight, but some of that is rather muted/non-existent in Magisteria. Still, since the other person is introducing himself in a friendly manner, Gilgamesh has at least a speculation as to who he might be.

Anyway, William's presence does bring Gilgamesh somewhat outside of the vision. Whether it was a manifestation of reality or all inside of his mind could be difficult to say. Were their very senses to be trusted within this place?
