They could definitely carry it away for study and science! The fish clearly have a lot going on that is worthy of research.

Also, mod has not actually created a background for their weird mutations yet and am open to ideas for their backstories, so if a character wants to make a "discovery" as to that, it could be probably be arranged so long as it fits with the general world lore, lol
